Lagos-based philanthropist and social media star Mukoro Michelle konwn as King Mitchy, is facing backlash after a viral follow-up video cast doubt on her widely praised six-day school renovation in Delta State.
Earlier this month, King Mitchy shared footage of the project—complete with fresh paint, repairs, and a new borehole, crediting support from high-profile figures like Don Jazzy and Seyi Tinubu.
The quick turnaround earned her widespread acclaim online for stepping in where government efforts had lagged.
However, journalist and activist Livinus Nwosu posted a detailed 20-minute inspection tour of the same school.
The footage reportedly shows only partial upgrades: some walls freshly painted in bright yellow, while many classrooms and structures remain tattered and unfinished.
The borehole she highlighted as installed for the school and community was allegedly non-functional.

Livinus visited the school King Mitchy claimed to have fully renovated in Delta State only to find it was just partially repaired. Some buildings in school is even tattered. Even the borehole she claimed she did isn’t working.
