Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries recently delivered a sermon exploring the link between wealth and a man’s authentic character.
He argued that a man’s true nature often remains hidden when he’s struggling financially, only surfacing once he achieves prosperity.
Suleman declared, “You don’t have character as a man if you don’t have money.”
He elaborated that financial success challenges a man’s ability to stay grounded, faithful, and respectful.
A man who, despite newfound wealth, curbs arrogance, remains loyal in relationships, and treats others—particularly less privileged women—with dignity, embodies true character, Suleman noted.
He cautioned women against judging a man’s character based solely on his behavior during hardship, pointing out, “A broke man can be humble,”
He stressed that such humility might stem from necessity, not genuine virtue, urging discernment in assessing a man’s true self.
