A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Joe Igbokwe, has said he was insulted when he tried to call the feuding Psquare brothers to order.

Recently, Peter Okoye, a.k.a. Mr P, released an eight-part series exposing what led to the collapse of the music duo, Psquare, which had him and twin brother Paul Okoye, a.k.a. Rudeboy.

The series was the latest in a pattern of back-and-forth between the twins and also their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye.

In 2024, when the brothers were at it, with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission pulling Jude Okoye in for questioning, Igbokwe expressed displeasure at the drama in their camp.

He said, “So shameful that two twin brothers, Paul and Peter, cannot work together, cannot love one another, they cannot trust each other, they cannot think together, they cannot reason together, they cannot forgive each other.”

He said, “What about their parents, their brothers and sisters, their Nnaochie? etc. This is a shame. It pains me to no end. Now, are there no elders in the family?”

He further criticised the duo, stating, “This is Success without brains. Education without character. Make shame catch us small na. When Gold rust what will Iron do? Ndi ara akwu eke. Awon werey.”

In response to Igbokwe’s comments, Rudeboy fired back via his Instagram story.

He wrote, “Joe Igbokwe, your Papa. Elder wey mumu. Focus on the country wey you put mouth scatter. People are hungry.”

Two years after that episode, the brothers are at it again, with their back-and-forth reminding Igbokwe of the insult he received when he waded in.

"Let the elders in their home town step in. I once tried to call them to order, but they abused me. They are adults, but they are kids. Let shame catch them small na," he wrote on Facebook.
