I pray social media remains, its impact is major – Renowned photographer

Fashion Photographer, Femi Alabede popularly known as Alfe has applauded the creation of social media to the world.

According to him, social media has been more positive than negative in his line of work. Adding that he can’t imagine a world without social media.

“I can’t imagine what it will be like if there was no social media, honestly, I don’t want to find out. I pray social media remains here. There have been more positive than negative with social media,” he said.

He said this while speaking in an interview with MyNigeria TV on Thursday, February 18, 2021.

Alfe, who also doubles as a creative artist and set designer stated that social media has had a major impact. He hinted that to get to where he is today, started from the audience on social media.

Having worked with many companies such as Genevieve magazine, Black Opal among others, he is hopeful of been recognized on a global platform.

“Social media has been a major impact. I can’t even imagine how it would have been like if there was no social media because I think the first level of appreciation of one of my work was on social media. I put out my work and people start to like it and people start to book. For people to even find me to book its even on social media. Before we have word of mouth and market. I think social media has been a major impact. It serves as a portfolio for my work,” Alfe noted.

During the interview, he hinted that although he faces some difficulties, as a photographer, he gets fulfilled with appreciation from his satisfied clients.
