Transfer: Romano shares latest Osimhen update amid PSG links

There have been no transfer talks between Victor Osimhen and Paris Saint-Germain, as per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Contrary to earlier reports that the French champions has offered the 25-year-old a four-year contract in a deal worth €13 million, Romano reports that the Parisians are yet to make any decision on Osimhen or any other player.

Speaking on the transfer speculations surrounding the Nigerian international on Substack, Romano said:

“From what I’m told at the moment, nothing is advanced, and PSG have made absolutely no decision on whether they want to go for a centre-forward or a different kind of player.”

Osimhen has been linked with a move to the French capital as many have tipped the reigning African Player of the Year to replace Kylian Mbappe who is set to join Real Madrid next season.

The Napoli talisman has also been linked with a move to the Premier League with Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal all reportedly interested in his signature.

The Super Eagles striker has netted 15 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season.
