A vehicle owner, Abraham Adekunle who barred his mind revealed that though the cost was up by more than 100 percent, he as content to drive into the fuel station and buy without any hitch.

"My brother in as much as the product is available. Why am I disturbing myself? I will look for the money and buy as much as I want."

A fuel attendant at Matrix Oil, who preferred anonymity stated that they it was the decision of both management and petroleum marketers to cap the pump price at N500 per litre.

She added that, "consumers have been receptive. They understand that the issue has gone beyond us but now rest with those in authority.
