World Cup: South Korea holds Uruguay to goalless draw in Group H

South American giants Uruguay have played a goalless draw with South Korea in the Group H opener of the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Despite possessing some of the fine attacking talents in world football, Suarez and co couldn't find a way past the resolute South Korean defence.

Uruguay defender Diego Godin came close as his header hit the woodwork in the first half.

Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde nearly snatched the win for Uruguay as his trademark long-range effort came off the post.

This is the fourth game that has ended goalless in the tournament.

The draw opens up Group H, as Black Stars of Ghana is set to take on the Selecao of Portugal in the next group encounter.
