Serie A: Dessers, Okereke stares at relegation after Juventus loss

Nigerian strikers, Cyriel Dessers and David Okereke are staring in the eye of a possible relegation to Serie B after Cremonese lost to Juventus in the Italian Serie A.

Cremonese, who sit 18th on the Serie A league log lost 2-0 to the Old Ladies further at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, May 14 further decreasing their chances of surviving the drop.

Goals from Nicolo Fagioli and Bremer sealed what was a comfortable win for Juventus as Massimiliano Allegri's side looks to cement the 2nd position behind champions Napoli.

Cyriel Dessers was missing in action due to injury, but Okereke was in action and gave a good account of himself despite not finding the back of the net.

The defeat means Cremonese are six points away from safety, with three games left to play.

Cremonese will need a win in their next home game against Bologna to maintain their hope of survival.

Both Dessers and Okereke who joined Cremonese this season are likely to go down after just their first season,
