Oshoala’s strike in Barcelona femeni comprehensive trouncing of Villarreal

Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala bagged her 19th goal of the season after she scored for Barcelona Femeni in their 5-0 demolition of Villarreal.

Barcelona have been in outstanding form since last season. In fact, they have not dropped a single point since last season.

Oshoala has been an important catalyst for the team. Last season, she was the highest goal scorer in Laliga Femeni with 20 goals in 19 appearances.

This season, she has taken it a notch higher. Oshoala has been superb this season, and she bagged her 19th goal of the season when the Laliga Femeni champions welcomed Villarreal to the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

The Super Falcons star scored the opener for Barcelona in the 21st minute. She got on the end of a flick from Claudia Pina and struck the ball into an empty net from close range.

Goals from Salma Paralluelo, and Caroline Hansen sealed the 5-0 for Barcelona. Oshoala is now the highest goal scorer in the league with 19 goals in as many games.
