As Nigeria prepares for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau, Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye on Tuesday night was reportedly spotted with American artiste Cardi B at the Milan Fashion Week.

The 26-year-old was part of the 24-man squad invited by head coach Eric Chelle for the crucial qualifier matches.

Following the arrival of skipper Wilfred Ndidi and Samuel Chukwueze, Okoye remains the only player yet to report to the team's camp in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.

The Super Eagles held their first training session on Tuesday night under the auspices of head coach Eric Chelle and his technical team.

According to reports, Udinese confirmed Okoye as one of the club's representatives to model the club's new third kit at Milan Fashion Week.

Videos that have surfaced on social media showed the Udinese shot-stopper together with Cardi B, fueling dating rumours between the pair.

The latest development has raised eyebrows among fans on social media, with many questioning what Okoye is still doing at such an event while his teammates have already begun preparation for the AFCON qualifiers.

However, reports indicate that Okoye is expected to join the team later on Tuesday to complete the 24-man squad ahead of the qualifiers.

Okoye's late arrival means he is likely to lose the number one spot to Stanley Nwabali against Madagascar.
