Nigeria’s hunt for a fourth continental title will officially begin today (Tuesday, September 22), when the Super Eagles hold their first training session ahead of their opening game in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Super Eagles will begin their campaign against Madagascar on Friday, September 25, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

Eric Chelle’s side will later travel to face Guinea-Bissau in their second game at the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro on Tuesday, September 29.

The three-time African champions officially opened camp for the two crucial qualifiers on Monday.

According to reports, the first 15 minutes of the team’s training session will be open to the media.

At the time of filing this report, there had been no official communication on the number of players available at the team’s camp.
