Liverpool lead Man City, Utd, others in race to sign Norwich star

League leaders, Liverpool, have appeared as the front runner in the race to sign Norwich City's star, Todd Cantwell.

The 21-year-old has scored six goals, netting in the defeat of Manchester City, and notched two assists in his 24 Premier League games, making himself an FPL favourite in the process.

According to reports from GiveMeSports, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool have all expressed their interest in signing the Norwich midfielder, come the end of the season.

Liverpool can now be considered 'front-runners' having 'intensified their interest' in Cantwell, according to The Athletic's David Ornstein.

Ornstein also writes that the Premier League champions in waiting stepped up their pursuit of Cantwell once the January transfer window slammed shut.

Norwich would ask for £30m to part ways with their prized asset, which in the modern-day market is a fairly decent price.
