Kylian Mbappe reacts as Christopher Nkunku completes first Chelsea training

Chelsea's new forward Christopher Nkunku completed his first training session as a player of the Premier League club on Friday.

It appears many including fans globally had been anticipating Nkunku’s appearance in a Chelsea training, and they didn’t hold back their excitement after the forward posted pictures from his first training on Instagram.

Of the numerous comments, one that stood out remains that of French teammate Kylian Mbappe. The wantaway PSG forward could not hide his and he took to Instagram to let the buzzing feeling out.

Underneath an Instagram post of Nkunku being put through his paces at Chelsea Cobham training base, the PSG superstar wrote:

‘Going to get my Popcorn’.



Since joining Chelsea in the summer, the French forward has had to wait his time to join training due to an injury.

Nkunku, who has now completely recovered from the injury that prevented him from participating in the World Cup last December in Qatar, is eagerly looking forward to making an impactful start at Stamford Bridge and he is set to be part of Mauricio Pochettino's pre-season tour squad.

Chelsea are set to embark on their Pre-Season tour which would see the play five games in the USA over the next three weeks.

The London club are determined to avoid a repeat of last year's chaotic tour, which left the squad ill-prepared and frustrated their manager, Thomas Tuchel.
