Turkish football commentator Ertem Şener has made a wild claim, suggesting that Turkey head coach Vincenzo Montella would not feature Victor Osimhen if he were the manager of Galatasaray.

Şener’s comment comes against the backdrop of Montella’s description of Osimhen as an emotional leader back in February this year.

“If Vincenzo Montella were Galatasaray’s coach, he wouldn’t play Osimhen,” Şener said, as quoted by Galatasaray Gazetesi.

According to him, the 27-year-old changes the appearance of the Turkish giants.

The Nigerian international is expected to return to action this weekend against Kasımpaşa after sustaining an injury against İstanbul Başakşehir on September 4.

Osimhen has netted six goals and provided two assists in four appearances for Galatasaray in the Turkish Süper Lig this season.
