Chelsea to prioritise the signing of Osimhen next season

Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has been tipped to be Chelsea's marquee signing next season as per reports.

The 23-year-old has been rumoured to lead the Blues attack in the near future according to a rumoured planned project to be rolled out by the London club.

Even though Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined the club in the summer from Barcelona, Chelsea sees the former Gabonese international as a short-term option as they look to bring in the Nigerian international on a long-term basis.

Osimhen was rumoured to exit Napoli in the summer with several Premier League clubs showing interest, but his suitors couldn't strike a deal with Napoli President Aurelio de Laurentiis who values the striker around 100 million euros.

The former Lille attacker recently returned from injury to score against Ajax and Bologna in the Champions League and Serie A respectfully.
