Galatasaray winger Wilfred Zaha has reacted following the release of Ivory Coast's squad for the 2023 African Cup of Nations on home soil.

To the shock of many, the former Crystal Palace Starman was not included in the 27-man squad announced by coach Jean-Louis Gasset.

Zaha, who featured in the last edition of the tournament in Cameroon has featured for the Elephants just twice this year.

Reacting following the release of the Ivorian squad on social media, the ex-Manchester United player took to his Instagram story to wish the team the best of luck.

"Good luck to the guys selected to represent the country in this tournament," the 31-year-old wrote.

Zaha has won 31 caps for Cote D'Ivoire scoring 5 goals in the process.

The Elephants will kick off next month's AFCON tournament against Guinea-Bissau on Saturday, January 13.
