Convener of Revolution Now campaign, Omoyele Sowore has pledged solidarity to Nigeria's widely read newspaper, Punch.
In a show of solidarity and support for the paper, he took to social media to commend their style of reporting.

He was pictured alongside rusticated University of Lagos student, Femi Adeyeye, a former member of the Democratic Socialist Movement, Sanyaolu Juwon, amongst others reading Punch newspapers.
He described the newspaper as revolutionary and a becaon of hope for the common man.
His warm message read thus: "Today we decided to buy and read @mobilepunch newspaper and hope at least 1 million Nigerians can purchase a copy of the revolutionary daily paper. The Punch has become the newspaper of the people and we have a duty to help sustain their conscientious style of reporting.
"We did this because the Nigerian Presidency decided in its pettiness, not to place an advert in The Punch because of their uncompromising position on tyranny, free speech and civil rights," he wrote.
