Afrobeats heavyweight David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has revealed that a joint concert tour alongside fellow global superstar Ayodeji Balogun (Wizkid) would guarantee instant sell-outs across the globe, commanding a staggering fee of $500,000 per show.

Speaking during a candid interview on the I Wanna Talk podcast, Davido explored the long-discussed prospect of a collaborative musical project or co-headlining tour between the two pioneering artists.

While expressing absolute confidence in the commercial drawing power of a joint tour, the "Unavailable" singer remained cautiously optimistic about how a direct musical collaboration would perform, drawing comparisons to legendary pairings of the past.

"If Wizkid and I do a song together, I don’t know if it will pop because when D’banj and 2Baba did a record together, it didn’t really pop... If we tour together, I’ll ask for $500,000 per show because I know every venue will sell out," Davido stated.

Addressing their decade-long hiatus from recording together, Davido clarified that the lack of collaborative tracks did not stem from creative incompatibility, but rather from not sharing the same artistic headspace at the same time, while also reflecting on how their historical rivalry shaped the broader Afrobeats landscape.
