Content creator Izzy Ogbeide has criticized social media activist VeryDarkMan for his recent public backlash against Davido and his family, arguing that the singer made himself too accessible.

Reacting in a video shared on social media, Ogbeide compared Davido's open approach to relationships with Wizkid's more distant and boundary-driven style. According to her, Wizkid's choice to maintain distance has earned him lasting global respect, whereas Davido's association with various internet figures has led to public disrespect.

"This is just pure see finish. The disrespect is too much. This is why the world will respect Wizkid forever. Wizkid is not friends with anybody, but anybody can claim him as their friend," Izzy Ogbeide said.

She noted that tensions escalated after Davido reportedly declined to donate to VeryDarkMan's charity project because he was already running his own philanthropic foundation.

"When Davido was associating with the likes of VeryDarkMan and Portable and co, we thought he was down to earth and all that. Not knowing he was making himself too available. Now we are seeing how VeryDarkMan talks to Davido.

"VeryDarkMan wanted Davido to donate to his charity. And Davido didn't because he already had his own charity. Because of that, see how VeryDarkMan talks anyhow to Davido," she stated.

Ogbeide advised public figures to maintain their status and avoid overfamiliarity with individuals who might later undermine them.

"The disrespect and familiarity is too much. Davido doesn't always have to come down to earth. You can sit on your throne and wave. Now look at the level of disrespect you face everyday. Stay in your lane. let everybody stay in their lane," she added.
