Israel DMW, logistics manager to Afrobeats artiste Davido, has dismissed reports alleging that the singer is working for the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The claim was refuted in a statement shared on his Instagram handle, where Israel DMW labeled the rumors as fabricated stories created to draw online traffic.

"Dearest Nigerians, kindly disregard the useless rumours going around that Oga has been secretly or is currently working for the APC. All are totally fabricated lies to gain social media traffic. His earlier stance still remains," Israel DMW stated.

The statement follows recent online reactions directed at the musician after his uncle expressed support for the political administration.

Israel DMW emphasized that the singer chose to turn down lucrative political endorsement offers to remain aligned with the general public during challenging economic times.

"Oga has rejected several millions of dollars to endorse any of the presidential candidates. He keeps saying he would be with Nigerians, who are going through a lot, and that he would never betray them at all. What else do Nigerians want again?" he added.
