Nigerian skit maker and digital content creator Michael Charles, popularly known as OGB Recent, has sparked reactions across social media platforms after celebrating the acquisition of a brand-new Lamborghini valued at hundreds of millions of naira.

Announcing the arrival of the luxury vehicle with the caption "God Did," the creator shared photos and videos showing the exotic supercar adorned with a ceremonial red ribbon.

Posts circulating across X estimated the market value of the luxury vehicle at approximately ₦750 million.

While fans and close colleagues congratulated the creator on his latest acquisition, the announcement left some commentators questioning whether income from online skits alone could finance luxury vehicles

Some of them pointed out that top-tier creators who have been in the industry longer have rarely made such lavish purchases strictly off online skit revenue alone.

One wrote: "Abeg shey this lambo way una dey buy na 2500 because i no understand ooo even yankee artist them no dey buy lambo the way our content creators dey buy am... abi content creators dey sell out O2 arena?"

Several users criticized the habit of attributing sudden, extreme luxury acquisitions to divine favor without transparent explanations of business models or secondary ventures.

One wrote: "Tell us how una they make am? If na God we too are God's people."

Another noted: "Lol, skit maker indeed... After fronting with skits make e tell us wetin dey give am money."
