Following the tragic passing of 43-year-old British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho "Tiny" Ubiribo (also known as Denisi or Ego), details surrounding his final send-off in London have sparked widespread attention online.
Known for his lavish, globe-trotting lifestyle and multi-million-dollar property portfolio spanning Los Angeles and London, Ubiribo was laid to rest in a gold-plated coffin reportedly valued at over $745,000.
His funeral brought in close friends, family, and high-profile figures, including childhood friend and Afrobeats star Davido, to pay their last respects.
This comes comes on the heels of findings from an inquest at Inner West London Coroners' Court regarding his sudden death. Ubiribo died in Bangkok, Thailand, after undergoing a non-surgical cosmetic procedure involving injections of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine.
Later that evening, he suffered severe chest pains and collapsed. Medical personnel carried out CPR for over 100 minutes at Sukhumvit Hospital, but he succumbed to a fatal pulmonary embolism caused by the filler material entering his bloodstream.
