Ify Okoye, the wife of music executive Jude Okoye, has addressed the public drama surrounding her family following recent allegations and public statements made by her brother-in-law, Peter Okoye.

In a message shared via her Instagram Stories, Ify stated that she has chosen not to engage in trading accusations or fueling conflict. Instead, she emphasized entrusting the situation to God, referencing the biblical story of Ananias and Sapphira.

"There comes a time when silence is no longer about fear, but about entrusting the truth to God," she wrote. "I have become aware of stories that have been twisted and manipulated to draw me into disputes that I neither created nor desire. I will not respond by trading accusations or fueling public conflict."

She continued; "The story of Ananias and Sapphira reminds us that while people can deceive others for a time, no one can deceive God. He is the righteous Judge who weighs every motive, exposes every falsehood, and upholds the truth in His perfect time."

Maintaining that she has no interest in public self-defense, Ify added that "truth does not need manipulation to prevail" and expressed a desire for mercy, peace, and spiritual conviction rather than judgment.

Her remarks come as the long-standing dispute between members of the defunct P-Square group and their former manager continues to dominate headline news.

What Peter alleged:

In his recent public statements and EFCC petition, Peter Okoye (Mr P) accused his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye, of secretly establishing Northside Music Limited to divert P-Square’s music royalties and operate undeclared bank accounts without the group’s full consent.

Peter alleged that Jude manipulated their company's shareholding structure, delayed providing backend catalog data to potential international investors, and managed group finances opaquely.

He further clarified that Jude was merely a hired manager rather than the creator of P-Square, maintaining that he now earns more and enjoys greater peace of mind as a solo artiste following his decision to involve anti-graft agencies.
