Obasi Emmanuel, the former husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has issued a public apology over his emotional display during a recent podcast appearance where he spoke about their failed marriage.
Recall that Obasi recently featured on the HonestBunch podcast, where he alleged that Judy Austin had feelings for actor Yul Edochie while they were still married.
During the interview, he became visibly emotional and was seen wiping his eyes with a handkerchief, a moment that quickly sparked reactions online.
In a video shared on Wednesday, June 17, Obasi apologised for breaking down during the discussion, explaining that his emotions were triggered by the topic.
He said:
“I want to use this opportunity to apologise for crying on that podcast; it was not my fault. I was emotional; I didn’t travel from Onitsha to Lagos to cry. Forgive me and bear with me; something triggered me.”

"am crying over my children, and you are busy looking at my handkerchief. Nigerian men should be very careful. Imagine your fellow man coming out to cry that he wants to see his children, and you people are busy looking at my handkerchief.
