Alexer Peres, ex-wife of singer Harrysong, has announced that she is temporarily handing over custody of their two children, aged four and three, citing emotional exhaustion and ongoing harassment.
In an emotional video, Alexer said she has been raising the children alone for the past two years, with the kids living and schooling from her home while only visiting their father occasionally. According to her, the pressure has become too much to bear.
She accused Harrysong of constant interference and unannounced visits, saying it has made it difficult for her to care for the children in peace. “This man has not let me rest. I’m tired,” she said.
Alexer revealed that although there are allegations in a petition filed by her ex-husband, she will respond later, stressing that her current priority is her mental health. She clarified that giving up custody is temporary and does not mean she is abandoning her children.
She also expressed concern about the children being left with domestic staff, claiming their father is rarely around, but said she had no other choice at the moment.
“I’m not weak. I just need to live,” she said, adding that she will return for her children.
The couple married in 2021 and publicly separated in January 2024 after months of marital issues.
