A popular Nigerian socialite has said she would only enter a relationship if her prospective partner can pay her $7,000 monthly to maintain her lifestyle.
The socialite, who is yet to be identified, made the comment during an interview on The Clarity Zone Podcast, hosted by popular on-air personality Nedu.
In an excerpt from the interview, she stated that financial commitment is a non-negotiable condition for any relationship she chooses to enter.
“If you don’t pay me ₦40 million, you cannot be with me. You came for me knowing my price. You don’t just say, ‘Can I be your girlfriend?’ It is very expensive to be a girl,” she said.
She further explained that a minimum of $7,000 per month is required for her to consider a relationship, arguing that love alone cannot sustain her lifestyle.
“For me to be your woman, you have to pay me $7,000 minimum because that is what we make in the club. Love doesn’t pay bills, and morals don’t pay bills either,” she added.
