Nigerian media personality Do2dtun has shed light on the deep personal support he has been receiving from actor Bolanle Ninalowo as his custody battle continues to intensify.
Do2dtun recently made headlines after publicly calling out the American Embassy in Nigeria, accusing officials of enabling his ex-wife, Taiwo Oyebanjo, to leave the country with their children without his consent.
He further alleged that the former U.S. Consulate in Nigeria worked with Taiwo’s family to relocate the kids behind his back, claims that have sparked public conversation.
In the midst of the uproar, Bolanle Ninalowo stepped forward, not just with public support but with a story that mirrors Do2dtun’s pain.
The actor recounted how he once left behind everything he built in Nigeria to return to the U.S. and fight for his own children, driven by nothing but a father’s love and the reassurance of his son, who constantly reminded him that his efforts were seen and appreciated.
Reacting to Ninalowo’s message, Do2dtun revealed that their bond goes deeper than social media solidarity. He shared that the actor has been a steady confidant, someone he speaks to privately and trusts with his fears and frustrations.
He thanked Ninalowo for providing clarity during a time clouded by accusations and emotional turmoil.
“Thank you so much, Nino. Sometimes I stop and ask myself what any of these judgments are really worth when it comes to my kids. I stay silent, mind my business, and keep moving. But then I remember people like you — fathers who have fought for their children and understand what this battle feels like,” he said.
He added that while many dismiss the struggle as something one can simply “move on” from, anyone who understands the true bond between a parent and child knows it isn’t that simple. According to him, the entire situation has been a “witch hunt,” fuelled by warped narratives meant to paint him in a negative light.
Nevertheless, Do2dtun said Ninalowo’s perspective and unwavering loyalty have helped him stay focused on what truly matters.
“Thank you for understanding and seeing through everything. You are a real one. Love you, my gee,” he wrote.
