The sudden death of Arise TV news anchor Somotohukwu Maduagwu left many Nigerians in shock, with many revisiting an old prophecy that has now resurfaced online.
Maduagwu, a former beauty queen, tragically lost her life after reportedly jumping from a three-story building in her estate during a robbery incident.
The heartbreaking news triggered widespread mourning, with tributes pouring in for the vibrant journalist, while calling out the growing insecurity, especially in the Northern parts of the country.
In the wake of her death, an old video of Prophet Abel Boma, shared on August 9, 2025, began trending across social media.
In the clip, the prophet issued a warning specifically directed at Arise TV anchors and presenters, cautioning them about looming dangers.
According to Boma, people were plotting against the lives of the station’s staff, urging them to be mindful of their utterances, stressing that constant criticism and attacks on individuals could invite unexpected tragedies.
“Life does not have a duplicate, and it is precious. The attacks on people are becoming too much. Pray for Arise TV, so they do not lose more staff,” the prophet said in the recording.
Though he did not mention names, fans now believe his message may have been connected to Maduagwu’s untimely passing. Many have since advised people to take prophetic warnings more seriously.
This is not the first time Prophet Boma has spoken about public figures. In the past, he has issued prophecies concerning Burna Boy, 2Baba, Chiwetalu Agu, and others.
Some of his revelations have reportedly come to pass, while fans continue to pray against the fulfillment of more alarming predictions.
