Nigerian music executive and talent manager, Ubi Franklin, has disclosed that he has never heard Afrobeat superstar Davido speak negatively about his colleagues, Wizkid and Burna Boy.
Speaking on the Afropolitan Podcast, Franklin weighed in on the ongoing “Big 3” conversation, noting that the debate goes beyond just music.
According to him, any artiste aiming to break into that level must be grossing between $15 million and $20 million annually.
He further explained that one of the qualities that set Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy apart is their commitment to building and maintaining relationships, something he believes many new-generation artistes often neglect.
Concluding his remarks, Franklin emphasized that despite competition and comparisons, Davido has never once spoken ill of his fellow Afrobeats giants, Wizkid and Burna Boy.
"I have never actually heard Davido for once say anything ill about Wizkid or Burna Boy," he said
