Popular TikToker Peller has declared that creating skits on Instagram is no longer profitable for content creators.

Speaking during a live session with fans on TikTok, the 20-year-old said many skit-makers have abandoned Instagram in favour of TikTok due to the platform’s more rewarding monetisation options.

He explained that Instagram’s policies are unfavourable to skit-makers, resulting in financial hardship for many.

“Hunger is killing everybody,” he said, highlighting the struggles faced by creators.

Peller added that TikTok now offers better opportunities for earnings, particularly through live streaming and other monetisation features.

“You see any content creator for Instagram wey still dey post skit? E no dey pay. All of them don come TikTok. We are doing live video together, can you see. Hunger is killing everybody. Hunger is killing a lot of Instagram people. When last you see say person post funny Instagram skit, w get why, e no dey pay”, he said.
