Popular Nigerian disc jockey, Nonso Temisan Ajufo widely known as DJ BigN has shared how he narrowly escaped death after being shot while performing in a club in South Africa.
The disc jockey took to social media to share photos of him on a hospital bed recovering from the incident. The disc jockey narrated an ordeal where he went out with his friends to a fancy lounge in Johannesburg, South Africa and the night became an experience that taught him a lot and gave him different perspectives about life.
DJ BigN noted that he decided to leave the club with a friend to another one and on their way, they were ambushed by two cars carrying six armed men with automatic rifles. He said the robbers asked for his wrist watch, chain and other jewelry.
According to DJ BigN, amid the chaos, he tried to escape but got shot in the leg. He struggled to get to the car and the driver rushed him to the nearest hospital for medical care.
The disc jockey noted that the experience changed his perspective on life. He said he lost over $114k worth of valuables that day, but realized that material possessions meant nothing.
DJ BigN expressed his gratitude to God for how far he has brought him and his mother for being there for him.
