Nigeria's pride, Chidimma Adetshina, has been named as one of the speakers to grace the incredible Women of Valour event, where women who have done and are doing outstanding things share uplifting stories.
The Women of Valour was created by Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah to bring together women from all walks of the continent who are doing amazing things in their various fields, to share their stories with the world and bring hope to others.
Nana Aba Anamoah took to social media to announce that the event, which takes place on March 7, the day before the commemoration of International Women's Day, will feature the reigning first runner-up of Miss Universe 2024, Chidimma Adetshina.
Sharing the news, the media personality wrote, "We are honoured to have Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina as a speaker.
Despite facing xenophobic attacks during her participation in Miss South Africa 2024, she emerged stronger, later being crowned Miss Universe Nigeria and achieving first runner-up at Miss Universe 2024."
Chidimma's appearance at the event is not only to showcase her beauty, but also to share her tale, struggles, and the trauma she overcame while journeying to become a global icon.
Recall that Chidimma Adetshina faced xenophobic attacks during her participation in Miss South Africa 2024, which later led to her leaving the contest.
Emerging stronger, she returned to her roots in Nigeria, where she was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria and subsequently became the first runner-up at the Miss Universe 2024.
We are honoured to have Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina as a speaker.
