Bishop David Abioye has given an explanation of why he decided to start a new ministry after leaving the Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel.

The renowned cleric's retirement from his role as Vice President of Living Faith Church Worldwide coincides with this statement.

Bishop David Abioye launched Hour of Revival, a brand-new spiritual endeavor. On Saturday, the Hour of Revival's first session took place at the National Stadium's Velodrome in Abuja, drawing a sizable crowd from a variety of backgrounds.

The clergyman emphasized in his speech to the audience that this project is a divine mission.

He went on to explain that the revival platform is a mission mandated by God, not just a personal project.

Bishop Abioye expressed his hope that all guests would become spiritual fervor catalysts and encouraged them to pursue personal revival as a means of achieving collective revival.

The Hour of Revival is an interdenominational prayer forum that is open to both believers and non-believers with the goal of rekindling spiritual fervor and encouraging personal and societal restoration.

63-year-old Bishop David Abioye retired from Winners Chapel after decades of service to the ministry. According to reports, he and Bishop Thomas Aremu retired following a review of the church's administrative policy, called The Mandate.
