Popular Nigerian clergyman Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, well-known as Prophet Odumeje, has warned his fans and followers not to record or take pictures of him when they see him in public.

Speaking to his church during a ministry service, the pastor emphasized that he is a prophet and not a public figure, expressing his unhappiness at being treated like a celebrity.

Prophet Odumeje stated that he feels uncomfortable when people videotape him without his consent and warned those who do so to desist from it.

Prophet Odumeje added that if someone was found filming him, he would not think twice about smashing their phone.

He said, “Stop videoing me when you see me on the road. I am not a celebrity; I am a prophet. I am more dangerous. I will scatter that phone spiritually."
