Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has celebrated two years of celibacy, sharing the personal milestone with fans as she continues to speak about self-love, independence and her approach to relationships.

The actress made the announcement on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, in a social media post featuring pictures of herself aboard a flight.

"Catch flights not feelings. 2 years of celibacy. God did," she wrote.

Her message indicated she was marking a period of prioritising herself over romantic relationships.

Nkechi has increasingly used her platforms to discuss personal happiness, financial independence and the expectations placed on women in relationships.

In a recent post, she celebrated herself with flowers, explaining that she had learnt not to rely on another person to make her feel valued or appreciated.

She has also criticised the shaming of women who are unmarried or childless, urging people to be more considerate of circumstances they may not understand.

Her past relationships have often drawn public attention, including her romance with entertainer Xxssive, which reportedly ended in 2025, and her earlier relationship with politician Opeyemi Falegan.
