It appears that Nigerian singer Seun Kuti and political activist Aisha Yesufu's social media feud is far from being over.
The political activist and the Afrobeats musician used strong language in a number of viral videos.
According to reports, Seun Kuti had told Aisha Yesufu to take off her hijab before talking about the independence of Nigerian women.
Aisha responded by criticizing Seun in a video and declaring that she would not be intimidated by him. She also ridiculed his musical career and asserted that she could defeat him.
She said, “Seun, I for break every bone wey dey your body."
Reacting to the claims, the musician shared in a video how he met Aisha on a television program with actress Kate Henshaw.
Seun noted that during the show, he had to sit next to Aisha and put up with her odour for two hours.
He claimed that the private sector should be held responsible for the state of the economy after she brought up the fact that he hadn't attained the same level of success as American music tycoon Jay Z.
He said, “We were discussing politics, and I said the private sector should be held responsible. She said I am not a capitalist like Jay Z because I never blow and I ask her when are you going account to Obideints.”
Seun Kuti's remarks generated mixed reactions from social media users. Some asserted that he was telling lies and if Aisha had a smelling odour, he could have mentioned it earlier rather than doing it now.
