Rita Dominic, a well-known actress from Nigeria has responded to comments made against her role in her most recent film "Lekki Wives" that tried to make fun of her.

According to the X user, considering Rita Dominic's status in the Nollywood industry, the actress should not have appeared in that movie. She added that there are certain projects the actress should not feature on.

The X user wrote: “There are certain projects your brand should outgrow, because why is Rita Dominic in Lekki Wives or whatever it is called! Common.”

Rita Dominic was offended by the X user's comments and reacted by taking to her X account. Rita Dominic noted that actors should not let insignificant comments on the internet stop them from improving.

She went on to say that only those with a lack of creative integrity spoke in the same way as the X user.

She wrote: “Dear Actors, only people who have no single drop of artistic integrity speak like this. If you listen to them you will soon begin to believe you are more important than the industry that birth you. You are an ACTOR so make sure to find a way or platform to release the creative energy in you. Continue to hone your skills regardless of empty comments like this cos knowledge is never-ending – yours truly, Rita.”
