Moment Davido sidelined fan who desperately wanted to hug him; many react

Afrobeats singer David Addeleke who is better known by his stage name Davido has stirred reactions on social media after a video of him and a fan emerged.

Recall that the singer had his first ever concert following the death of his son Ifeanyi on Sunday, April 23, at Lagos and the auditorium was filled up as fans flooded the event to have a glimpse of the superstar.

In a video of the concert that has gone viral, the singer rejected a fan who yearned for a hug from him.

The eager fan rushed to greet the singer as Davido sidelined him to go another route and declined to hug him.

receiving a handshake from the singer and being taken off the stage by a security guard, the humiliated fan exited the stage.

Many people on social media expressed their embarrassment for the fan, while others thought it was a good thing it wasn't at Burna Boy's event since he would have received worse treatment.
