Actress Nkiru Umeh calls out Sanwo-Olu over Abule-Ado explosion 3 years ago

Nollywood actress Nkiru Umeh has criticized the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as today, March 15, commemorates the third anniversary of the Abule-Ado explosion.

The actress who was a victim stated that the Governor visited the scene after the explosion to assess the damage and made a number of promises to victims, but has not kept even one of them as of now.

According to Nkiru, her family lost items and property worth N300 million, many lives were lost, and homes worth hundreds of millions were lost, yet the state government did nothing.

She continued by saying that the government chose to sell the explosion's debris rather than take action in helping the victims.

The actress who questioned whether the Governor, Sanwo-Olu was expecting votes from the residents of Abule-Ado, added that they had witnessed hell and their hearts were still crushed.
