Smade recounts how he got Wizkid to join Davido on UK stage in 2018

Popular show promoter, Adesegun Adeosun Jr. who is also known as Smade has spoken out on the challenges he faced before he got Wizkid to join Davido on stage at the singer’s UK tour in 2018.

The Afronation CEO in a post on social media narrated how he got Wizkid to perform with Davido despite obstruction from how members of Davido's camp.

He wrote: “This was the show that took Afrobeats to the NEXT LEVEL #DAVIDOUKTOUR 2018 at Brixton Academy Brixton. One day I will tell the story of how I & @iamdonbazy got WIZKID into this show and how all 30BG crew said NO (we don't want) except 1. Thank God I summoned the courage to whisper in David's ear "WIZ is here".

That night was magical and one of the biggest nights for Afrobeats till date. The show also had amazing stars like Mr EAZI, Nots, Nedu Americano, The Compozers Band & more.

Meanwhile, Wizkid and Davido are set to embark on a music tour.

This comes after Wizkid's post on his Instastory.

He said: "After my MMLE tour!! Davido and I going on tour! Save your coins! I no one hear pim!!!"

This will be the first time two Nigerian acts with the largest fan bases in the world will embark on a joint project.

Popular blogger, Tunde Ednut confirmed that the tour will be done in 10 cities across the globe.
