Fashion and Portrait photographer, Femi Alabede known as Alfe has said the coronavirus outbreak did not stop him from being successful.

According to him, since the outbreak of the novel virus, people now appreciate the act of visuals.

He stated that social apps such as Tik Tok, Snapchat, Instagram have encouraged people in putting out more visual content.

Alfe, during an interview with MyNigeria TV, indicated that though it has been good for some photographers, event photographers on the other hand have been affected by the outbreak.

“This covid has made people appreciate the act of visuals, we have Tik Tok, Instagram and others and everybody is putting out content. People are appreciating the act of content creation. It has even brought out the need to put out more content. As photographers, we are content creators. We have some brands that will want us to put out more. The area of photography that will be majorly affected is event. We have not been really affected with the covid situation so I won’t say it has been bad, it's actually been good.”

Since the surge in coronavirus cases, the Federal Government announced the lockdown and some restrictions including no large gatherings which caused event organisers to either halt the show or postpone.

Currently, the country is faced with the second wave of the outbreak. Which has led government to enforce penalties to defaulters.
