Some social media users have picked on Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku after he said Nigerians should be appreciative of his services to the country.

The seasoned actor on his Instagram page said that after serving Nigeria and giving his best to entertain people, it was only fair the favor was returned.

Hanks continued by saying that the time had come for Nigerians to recognize his struggles and sacrifices for the country.

He wrote: "I have served my beloved country Nigeria with love and put smiles on many families home… I am still not done serving my country… I think is the moment for Nigeria to appreciate our struggles and sacrifices without giving it a thought…."

The post infuriated some Nigerians as they stated that the actor was acting too entitled and doing too much.
