Grammy Award-winning singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu widely known as Burna Boy is currently buzzing online after saying that US rapper JCole named him 2Pac.

A video of Burna Boy speaking in an interview has gone viral on social media. The self-acclaimed African Giant claimed that the rapper called him 2Pac while they were working on a song.

Burna claims that he was initially perplexed and unsure of who JCole was speaking to until realizing it was him.

According to the Nigerian star, JCole claimed that he is similar to 2Pac, who became reincarnated in Africa.

In his words: “And before we start he just goes, ‘bro, this niigga is 2Pac’. And then I look around to see who he’s talking about and it’s me. He’s like ‘yea, it’s like 2pac reincarnated in Africa’, that’s kinda deep.”

Burna Boy's speech in the video on how JCole labeled him 2Pac who was reincarnated in Africa quickly provoked a range of fascinating responses from Nigerians.

Some of them appeared to believe that the so-called Odogwu was being dishonest.
