Yoruba film actor Murphy Afolabi to be laid to rest on today

Popular Yoruba actor and producer, Murphy Afolabi whose sudden passing occurred on Sunday, May 14 will be laid to rest in his hometown in Osogbo on Monday, May 15 (today), Legit.ng reports.

Not long after the news of his passing spread across social media, the family of the deceased in consultation with some Nollywood stakeholders have reached an agreement to bury the Yoruba star today, May 15.

Afolabi, who celebrated his 49th birthday a few days ago reportedly fell in the bathroom and hit his head on the floor leading to his death.

He was one of the famous movie stars to have emerged out of the Yoruba movie industry.

Many have taken to social media to mourn the sudden passing of the Nollywood star.
