Yoruba actor Olamilekan ‘Gbatami’ Ojo is dead

The Nollywood industry has been thrown into mourning after the passing of renowned actor cum producer, Olamilekan Gbatami.

Olamilekan Gbatami passed away on November 18, 2022, during the early hours of Thursday.

The veteran actor had been battling lung cancer for over a year before his demise.

Announcing the death of the actor, the deceased's colleague actress Oluwaseyi Edun shared his photo on her official Instagram page with the caption: “Rip Boss, can’t believe this, haaaa Gbatami.”

The Yoruba film industry has, regrettably, suffered loss in the year 2022. Popular veteran actor Yinka Ogundaisi also passed away in June.
