'Wizkid owes me' - Verydarkman drags singer for using his trademarked phrase, ‘Don’t Play'

Controversial TikToker and social media influencer Otse Vincent Martins who is better known as Verydarkman has challenged Grammy-winning singer Ayodeji Balogun widely known as Wizkid to pay royalties for using his intellectual property "Don't Play" in his most recent song, "Diamonds."

In the video, Verydarkman said that because Wizkid used his word, he owed him money.

VeryDarkMan even provided a copy of the documentation demonstrating that "Don't Play" is unique to him. He stated that all of the phrases he frequently uses are protected by intellectual property rights.

Instagram user Tunde Ednut, who regularly reposts VDM's videos, posted the video with the following caption: “What do you guys think?”
