'Wizkid doesn't help' - Portable laments on singer's lack of help to trenches

Controversial street singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has bemoaned the fact that Grammy Award winner Wizkid rarely provides assistance to those in the trenches.

Speaking on Nedu Wazobia's "the honest bunch podcast," Portable said that Wizkid was an exception to the rule of some well-known celebrities who lend a helpful hand to up-and-coming people in the trenches.

According to Portable, prominent individuals such as Don Jazzy, Davido, Olamide, and a host of others have contributed to the emergence of some great artists who are elevating the profile of the Nigerian music business.

Portable added that he wouldn't be able to say the same for Wizkid because it seems the artist has forgotten about the folks who are actually living in the trenches.

Additionally, he exhorted Wizkid to provide Nigerians with the Fuji melodies he used to provide for them back in his early career in music since it is what they desire.
