Wizkid Fc digs up evidence to support Wizkid's claim about Don Jazzy being an influencer

Fans of Grammy award-winning artist, Wizkid dug up a piece of evidence to support his claim that the popular producer, Don Jazzy is indeed an influencer.

Wizkid generated a frenzy on social media when he threw jabs at Davido, Don Jazzy, and Ladipoe.

Early on, Wizkid responded to a fan who reminded him of a comment Ladipoe, a Mavin signee made against him.

Ladipoe wrote, “Nigerian rappers that survived ‘hip hop is dead’ watching Afrobeat artists go through their own.” The tweet caught the attention of a concerned X user who then directed Wizkid’s attention to it.

In response, Wizkid dismissed any possibility of engaging with artists signed to ‘an influencer’ — a subtle jab at Don Jazzy, under whose label Ladipoe operates.

Wizkid’s tweet read, “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”

While his response sparked mixed reactions on social media, a user identified as @jaynaija shared a throwback image of the Mavin boss being awarded Music Influencer of the Year in 2023.

Sharing the post, he wrote: "Don Jazzy na influencer, Receipt dey. Y’all know Wizkid is right but when it’s affect your favs, una go dey cry."
