Nollywood actor Kunle Omisore has recounted an alleged real-life encounter with people he described as witches, claiming he was once invited to a meeting to settle a dispute.
Speaking during an appearance on the African A-List podcast, the actor revealed that he honored the invitation to defend himself after a woman accused him of causing damage to her belongings.
Omisore stated that he maintained his innocence throughout the meeting, explaining to their leader that he had never met the woman in question nor destroyed anything that belonged to her.
"Witches exist. I have gone to a meeting with witches before and came back to the house. Yes, they invited me. I went to settle a dispute," he shared.
Reflecting on the gathering, Omisore noted that the physical appearance of those present contrasted sharply with typical Nollywood portrayals.
Rather than the painted faces and eerie costumes often seen in Nigerian films, he described seeing individuals dressed in traditional iro and buba attire, with some carrying calabashes on their heads.
