Veteran Nigerian singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage has playfully called out her music industry colleagues following a rapid wave of multi-billion naira luxury purchases sweeping through the Afrobeats scene.

Taking to her Instagram page, the Water & Garri star poked fun at the massive financial flexes recently displayed by male contemporaries Burna Boy, Kizz Daniel, and Davido.

Referencing the ongoing luxury acquisition spree across the industry, Tiwa Savage wrote: "I must also partake in this money you people are spending on cars, chains, plane because the devil is what…"

The post prompted a laughing response from Grammy-nominated music executive Bankulli.

Replying directly to Bankulli, the mother of one highlighted her own long-standing career in the industry while humorously questioning how her peers were funding their lavish upgrades.

"It is true oh my Oga, please where are they sharing this money because wetin happen na, I don dey sing this Afrobeat for over a decade now oh," she added.

Her viral comments follow a succession of headline-grabbing automotive purchases.

Burna Boy recently took delivery of a customized Venuum Bugatti Chiron VXX valued at a reported ₦9 billion, while Kizz Daniel picked up a 2026 Ferrari Purosangue worth ₦1.6 billion ahead of his album rollout.

Additionally, Davido unveiled two bespoke Ferrari models—a Roma and a Purosangue modified by VENUUM Black—with a combined valuation exceeding $4 million (approximately ₦5.3 billion).
